Biography

Farzad Jalaei is currently working as a research associate at the Construction Research Center- National Research Council Canada (NRC). His research focuses on the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) with sustainable design through the life cycle of building and infrastructure projects. It emphasizes on the integrating BIM, Management Information System, Energy Analysis, Life Cycle Assessment, and costs analysis to implement sustainable design for proposed buildings at their conceptual stage while taking into consideration their Environmental Impacts. He has over 10 years of practical research experience along with three years of construction engineering and management experience
